In the intensely competitive world of interactive entertainment, it's common for emerging rivals to fade away as swiftly as they enter the scene.

However the latest Battlefield is aiming to change that.

It's the newest release in a established military shooter franchise commonly positioned as a more authentic alternative to Call of Duty.

The franchise has seldom managed to equal its top opponent in regards of revenue or user base, but evidence points to the new installment could close the gap.

Building On Past Errors

A further absent component from the previous installment was a solo experience, which has been reintroduced in this version.

Criterion design director Fasahat "Fas" Salim is the individual responsible for "ensuring those stages are as enjoyable and interesting as feasible for the players."

Despite allegations that the size of the project had challenged the various studios collaborating globally to build the title, he is positive about the endeavor.

"Collaborating with different backgrounds, distinct heritages, it's a very fascinating setting to be engaged with on a regular basis," he explains.

"The complete approach has been something new but additionally very thrilling because we are partnering with people from around the globe."

Concerning the anticipation on the crew, he comments: "We feel pressure but at the same time it's exciting.

"This is a big venture. It's probably the biggest that many of us have ever participated in."

Young Developer Brings Innovative View

That's definitely accurate of at least an individual team member, lighting artist Vlad Kokhan.

The 21-year-old creates the visual ambiance that shape the tone, style, and direction of the story mode.
